James Rodriguez Endorsed by Houston’s GLBT Political Caucus

Houston – Last night, in a landslide 40–1 vote, James Rodriguez was endorsed by the Houston Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Political Caucus (HGLBTPC.) 

Rodriguez who received the recommendation of the screening committee said, “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Houston GLBT Political Caucus.  There is a large GLBT community in District I and their support will be a deciding factor in the election this November. I look forward to working for the GLBT community on city council and representing their concerns.”

The HGLBTPC is the South’s oldest Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Civil Rights organization.  Founded in 1975, the Houston GLBT Political Caucus is dedicated to eliminating prejudice, violence, and injustice against gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people through education, activism, and political advocacy.
