James Rodriguez Outperforms Opponent

in First Campaign Fundraising Period

Houston – When the first campaign finance reports for the upcoming Houston City Council District I race were released yesterday, James Rodriguez reported over $30,000 more in contributions than his opponent, John Marron. Rodriguez also showed almost twice as many donors, many of whom were District I residents.

“The finance reports show an overwhelming community support for my candidacy. I feel honored to receive contributions from many of my neighbors and friends. There is still a long road ahead before Election Day but I am excited with the momentum that this significant accomplishment gives my campaign,” said Rodriguez.
