Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Alba Montoya of Houston, Texas happily announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Wendolynn Marisol to James Gilbert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert and Mary Ruth Rodriguez of Houston, Texas. Wendolynn is a graduate of Eisenhower High School in Houston, Texas and James is a graduate of Milby High School in Houston, Texas. Wendolynn graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and thereafter received a Master in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She received a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. James earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Houston. Wendolynn is an attorney with the Houston based law firm of Vinson & Elkins LLP. James is marketing director for Entech Civil Engineering and a candidate for Houston City Council, District I.
The couple will marry in June at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. After a honeymoon in the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
