James Rodriguez Endorsed By Former Mayor Lee Brown

Houston - James Rodriguez, candidate for Houston City Council, District I, has received the endorsement of former Houston Mayor Lee Brown. Brown served as the city’s mayor from 1998 to 2004.

“I am proud to announce my support for James Rodriguez, candidate for Houston City Council, District I. I have known James for a number of years and have always been impressed with his desire to serve the public. James Rodriguez is an energetic leader with an exceptional knowledge of city government. James will make an outstanding city council member,” said Brown.

“It is truly humbling to have a nationally known and respected leader endorse my candidacy for city council. I am proud to have the support of Mayor Lee Brown. The Lee Brown administration was one that was built on inclusiveness and diversity. When elected, I will work to make sure City Hall is a partnership that includes all of our city’s communities,” said Rodriguez.

The election will be held on November 6, 2007.
